We are an organization founded by and for emigrants from Oppdal, Norway, and their descendants. We have about 120 members. Laget is a forum for social events, genealogical research, Norwegian-American culture, and maintaining links to Oppdal in the Old Country.
Opdalslaget was first founded in 1920, persisted until the 1940s; and was then reestablished in 2002. If you have ancestors from Oppdal, live in Oppdal, or are otherwise interested in the organization's work, please contact us.
Opdalslaget is proud.to be part of Norwegian-American Bygdelagenes Fellesråd, the national council for Norwegian-American bygdelag.
